Alexandria Tyber -Artist/ Instructor/Practitioner
Alex, AKA Ali is the original founder of this creative space now known as The Cosmic Cod. She has been creating & teaching art on Cape Cod for over 25 years.
Ali works in a variety of Artistic mediums and believes in the transformative power of art to uplift, inspire & heal. Ali’s style of art ranges from classic portraits to landscapes to whimsical painted furniture & hand painted clothing.
Alexandria is also an Integrative Energy Practitioner & holds Certifications in Yoga, Heart Math, The Emotion Code, Hypnotherapy, EFT/TFT, & Mindfulness Meditation. She is also a Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach & Reiki Master/Teacher.

Victoria Tyber - Executive Assistant - Artist/Instructor
Victoria's involvement at The Cosmic Cod runs from Creative assistant to administrative assistant , Art Instructor and everything in-between. Being Alex's granddaughter she has been involved with The Studio since she was a young child. Her kindness, patience & creative talent along with her great sense of humor and people skills makes her an invaluable asset during any class. She is sure to add light to your day and encourage your creativity!
Joshua Oakley - Artist/Instructor
Josh has been teaching paint nights since 2014. His talent for painting & teaching makes every Paint Night a great time. His entertaining wit and humor along with his easy and fun style of teaching will inpsire you to want to paint with him again and again! Josh's Art is also for sale at The Cosmic Cod Gallery.

Sarah Elizabeth Murphy- Creative Writing Workshop Leader & Writing Coach
Sarah holds a degree in English and Writing from Bridgewater State University. She has also studied creative writing and poetry at Boston College, the Boston Center for Adult Education, and Northeastern University. She has taught writing workshops at Celtic Bliss Gallery, Emerson House, and Falmouth Public Library.
Marlene aka 'Marley' Gumbert- Artist- Instructor- Reiki Practitioner & Fire Artist
Marlenes upbeat style & joyful Vibe will inspire you whether you are creating art with her, learning about meditation or just shopping at The Studio! Her Art instruction is easy, fun and right on point. Marlene speciality class is Mandalas and she is available for Reiki Sessions. Marlene also assists Ali with many of The Integrative Workshops.

Diane Precourt -Artist/Instructor- Fiber Artist- Illustrator- Yoga Instructor
Dianes sweet illustrative style is fun & whimsical and will brighten any décor- As an instructor her down to earth personality puts everyone at ease allowing the inner artist to emerge & create!
Diane is also an accomplished seamstress & Fiber Artist & the creator of Buddha Buns where she designs and creates Zafu Yoga Cushions, Japanese Sleeping Pillows, Yoga Eye Pillows and much more!

Bradford Glass -Life Coach

Haley Rae Smith-Artist/Visiting Instructor, Social Media
Haley Rae’s inspiration to paint was sparked when she was a young child. Her creativity was always encouraged by her family so it was only natural that painting became a regular hobby.
She began as an intern/volunteer at The Studio in 2008 and is always involved in some shape or form!
She is currently residing in North Carolina and helps with our Social Media. She is one of our Visiting Artists and teaches workshops when she is visiting Cape Cod.
Robert Ryan - Artist
Robert Ryan grew up in Newton Massachusetts and studied at the Art Institute of Boston. He moved to Southern California in the late eighties where his art direction was influenced by the light and color of the west. Large abstract paintings, full of vivid color with emotional reference drawn from personal experience have been his focal point ever since.
Ryan has shown work in San Diego and La Quinta, California and more recently in Mashpee, Falmouth, Cotuit, Hyannis, Orleans and Provincetown on Cape Cod, where he now resides. See more of Roberts art at rryanart.com

Deborah Handy- Artist
DeborahHandy's watercolors have been popular among collectors for many years. Her skilled and talented rendition of the many beautiful places Cape Cod has to offer make her original art and prints popular in many homes, offices and public buildings around Cape Cod.
Deborah grew up in Woods Hole Ma and earned her BFA and MAT from UMass Amherst. She has shown her work in numerous galleries and has been an Art History Volunteer and Elementary Art Teacher with the Mashpee Public School system.
How We Came To Be...
Our studio was first born in the early spring of 2007. Founded by three artists who believed in the transformative power of art, it's prime intent was to inspire, motivate, educate and encourage people of all ages and abilities to create art in all forms.
We opened our gallery/studio in Mashpee Commons at the site of what is now Cup Cake Charlies under the name Artists For The Arts. We showed art, taught classes, hosted music events and created a community of artists & students. We offered our first 'Paint Party' at that time in 2007 under the name 'Masterpiece Workshop'!

In 2009 we moved our location across from Woodruffs Art Center and we became Three Fish & a Ram Art Center.
Continuing to bring creativity & art to our community hosting art shows, classes, open mic nights and mentoring local students.

In 2012 we became The Cape Cod Art Bar, turning our 'Masterpiece Workshop' into the ever popular Paint Parties!
​
Along came 2020 and once a again we found ourselves in the midst of change. As the fad of paint parties changed along with Covid 19 space regulations we decided to once again.... transform ourselves! We have re-designed our studio & added
new services and we look forward to new creative endeavors!

As always, our mission stays true to our original intent... to inspire and encourage people of all ages & abilities to express themselves creatively through a variety of mediums and channels.
